Something peculiar is afoot...

Email thestrangeriswatching@gmail.com to let them know just how much you'll miss the Dresden Dolls' Amanda Palmer.

I will say no more.

P.S. Oh, and if you choose to delve into the mystery, please tell us what you find in this thread...

Interesting...where, oh where has our Amanda Palmer gone?

Okay so link overload but here's the tiny tidbit I've got so far.

One of the articles linked from this site talks about a boy who is a Guitar Hero and who is being home schooled. The school they're talking about the shootings taking place is Lexington High and is Amanda's actual old high school according to her blog, and where they filmed the videos for "Strength Through Music" and "Guitar Hero" for the 8 part series with Michael Pope.

Still trying to read through all the other links. Holy cow there's a lot to this...

Also this picture is from the doorway of Amanda's house. It's the same staircase as in The Dresden Dolls in Paradise DVD during the "A Life in the Day of The Dresden Dolls" segment.

This is the kind of shit I can recall instead of remembering important things like where the hell I put the car keys this time. -sigh-

And not that any of this info is helping with the ARG so far either...

Hmm...the WKAM FM radio station they talk about in the articles has its own site too.

WKAP FM

Along with some odd codes...click the picture.

Trying to catch up at the Shadowbox message board who have apparently been on this for a couple weeks. Dammit...always the last to know.

Oh man, this ARG thing is cool and fun, but it's kind of stressful too. So many fucking links!

I've signed up for the "WKAP FM" mailing list, so I'll let you guys know if anything comes of that.

This link has probably been most enlightening so far...I guess.

Ooh, here's another blog who's been collecting information too. Insurreality.net This stuff is just so far spread across the Ninternets and it's hard to determine what's real and what's not. She's got a LOT of real stories and real sites mixed in as well.

Not that any of the Amanda Palmer is missing stuff is real; she's still alive and posting blogs on her myspace and touring but this is still fun to play along. Anyone else been sucked in yet?
